In una recente discussione interna al progetto, avvenuta principalmente tra Olivier Landemarre, Roger Burrows e Markus Fröschle, gli sviluppatori ACP hanno dibattuto su come Freescale sia riuscita a raggiungere la velocità di 401 MIPS sul processore Coldfire a 266 MHz. Dopo aver speculato su MIPS, VAX e Dhrystones gli sviluppatori sono solo d'accordo di non essere d'accordo. Tuttavia, vi è del materiale affascinante per gli utenti finali.
Nel corso di questa discussione il benchmark Dhrystone 2.1 è stata ricompilato usando GCC 4.6.4. Non possiamo non condividere i risultati dei test con voi perché, nonostante tutto, forniscono un buon raffronto tra FireBee con EmuTOS (100% ColdFire nativo), FireTOS con cf68klib, Aranym (senza JIT), un Atari originale Falcon e TT, così come una CT60.
